The tutorial: step 4

In this step we will look at how to keep your zone working properly over time.

Making modifications

If you want to make modifications, make sure to increase the serial in the SOA record of your zone. This is a field in the SOA usually formatted like a date, in the form of YYYYMMDDNN where NN is number you can increase if you make multiple changes per day.
If you do not update this, our name servers will think the zone has not changed, and will not update their copy.

Keeping credits in your account

Be aware that for each domain we will try to deduct 200 credits every month.
Each domain has a "next billing" field in it's detail page, which will show you when billing is scheduled.
If, on the date of billing, you do not have sufficient credits, we will immediately stop the service for this domain.
